I've been rereading Danse Macabre by Stephen King. He's really really smart, as well as being a good writer. You can tell in his On Writing too, and also the different articles he writes for things, like Entertainment Weekly and stuff.
I can't wait until November 10, when Under the Dome comes out. The plot sounds really great.

I lost my favourite pen. It's silver and writes in blue. If anyone finds it and could return it, that would be nice. If it's not too much trouble.
I'm reading Hardy's Jude the Obscure. It's good. It's especially interesting because Hardy never wrote another novel after it, because of the scandal of its publication. He only wrote poetry afterward.

I'm re-reading Stephen King's The Stand. It really is one of the best books ever written. I wonder if a lot of authors wish they could write like King. I do
I'm looking forward to his Under the Dome being released. In November. It's going to be another really long book. I guess the manuscript weighed almost twenty pounds when it was submitted.

My roommate is gone and the room seems so empty.
I fed his pigeons. They're hanging around the window and they seem so mournful, like they can't quite figure out why he's not here.
Pigeons just eat bread, right?

I am reading A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. He has such a great ability to create very realistic characters. They aren't exaggerated or over-the-top in any way. They're just very real, and yet not at all dull. The book is both sad and hopeful which is a good combination. I think. For fiction anyway.
I never know what to write here. Which is funny because I write a lot. But fiction is easier than my life. My life is boring

Autumn is such a nice time of year. I like to see the leaves as they change colour, until it looks as though all the trees are on fire. A blaze of golds and oranges and red, until even they drift away in winter's wake.
It always makes me a little bit sad when I see pumpkins smashed on the ground. Such a waste. Why are people so mean?

I always open this thing up and look at the screen and just draw a blank on what to say. Which is strange because I write a lot otherwise. Stories and stuff. But I don't know what to say about myself.
I guess its okay that school is starting soon. I don't mind. Except the groups of people Classes are safe something to do.
I started reading The Grapes of Wrath. It's pretty good. Sad though. I think the turtle means something.

The gardens here are very nice. Very colourful. I was sitting in them earlier today. There are bees buzzing around there though.
I still find it strange to write in this thing where other people can read it. I'm just not very interesting. At least not talking about me and stuff that happens to me. I'd rather write other things, but not where people can see it.
